If you are taking a vacation soon, or have an event coming up, here are some helpful tips that will greatly improve your photo album.

• For long trips, date your rolls of film to help you remember what was photographed when.
• A small notebook or Palm Pilot-like device is great for jotting down information. Even if you don't write things down right away, spend some time each night recapping the day.
• Taking pictures of signs is faster than writing information down. Plus you'll have a label ready to use in your album.
• Have fun taking pictures, but don't be afraid to edit some out. Choose the photos that best represent your trip/event or tell a story. I can help with editing.
